Galentine's Day Cocktail to Share with your BESTIES!
Amidst the laughter and camaraderie of empowered women, the crisp sips of Empowerment Potion #9 danced through the air, setting the tone for a memorable Galentine's Day gathering. This is a fun play on the cocktail, Love Potion #9, a hit song by The Searchers and also a famous cocktail. The original cocktail calls for different ingredients than the one I created as I only used the name as inspiration to name my cocktail. I served this cocktail at a Galentine’s Day themed networking event catering to female entrepreneurs, and it was a hit! So, as you can tell, Empowerment Potion #9 fit the theme of the evening.
The event was organized by S.H.E. a female first networking collective that stands for Support Habits of Empowerment. The evening’s theme was “Empowering Women to Cross Boundaries” equipped with a speaking panel of five women who spoke about their experience in business and being a female in historically male industries. “S.H.E. is a female-first business and empowerment network dedicated to "Support Habits of Empowerment" by actively engaging & uplifting women through education and social support. The event was held at Jaala’s Party Pantry in Ri-No, Denver. The outside of the building is beautiful. There are hints of what the building used functions as, such as train tracks in the now parking lot. The industrial building echos with hums of production and machinery. The oversized double doors welcome you into a cozy, soft, bright, boho, space with hints of industrial I-beams.

The featured business of the evening was The Diamond Reserve. These gals not only shine bright like diamonds, but they are also pioneers in their historically male dominated trade. They showcased their beautiful inventory and spoke about their experiences as women in the diamond industry.
